Singapore United Cricket Club provides cricket coaching in Singapore and is managed by United World Sports Management (UWSM) at various venues with training once a week at each venue, during weekends and weekdays. The Club caters towards boys and girls aged 4–17 years, of all levels of ability who want to play this great sport in Singapore.
The club participates in various cricket leagues, tournaments & friendly games all year round. It is a vibrant community of mixed nationalities and cultures all coming together to experience the excitement of Cricket. There are opportunities for adults as well to train & represent SG United CC at both social and competitive level. UWSM also organises world famous AB de Villiers' Last Man Stands (LMS) T20 cricket tournament in Singapore and overseas international tours & tournaments.
UWSM Cricket coaching for kids & youths by experienced ECB & CA qualified coaches at various locations in Singapore (covering the whole of Singapore). All groups – beginners, intermediate & advanced, 4–17 years old boys & girls. All students will be coached by ACC (Asian Cricket Council) / ECB (England & Wales Cricket Board) / CA (Cricket Australia) certified coaches.
We aim to spark an interest in Cricket in the children by making the program meaningful whilst having fun. Students will develop their ABC's (agility, balance, coordination), as well as fundamental and teamwork skills. 2–3 groups are made according to skills and age of the students during each session. Students will also learn basic & specific skills of cricket in a game environment.
What Students LearnIn addition to the regular training sessions, members will have the opportunity to play regular friendly games & tournaments. UWSM also conducts One on One sessions, Small group sessions, Corporate group cricket sessions, Sports Birthday parties, Holiday cricket camps, leagues, tournaments, International Cricket Tours and Multi-Sports coaching & camps.
B.Sc. Sports Science (Ind) and M.Sc. Exercise & Sports Studies (NIE, NTU SG), Sports Management (UK), Level 2 Cricket Coach (ECB & CA), Outdoor Education Cert. (OBS SG), RoSPA Level 2 Award in Risk & Crisis Management, NROC Coach SportSG, Safeguard & Protecting Children, First Aid with CPR & AED, Values & Principles in Sports. 11 years of coaching experience, 18 years of playing experience in India, Australia, UK, South Africa & Singapore.
In addition to running Singapore United Cricket Club, UWSM is proud to be the franchise owner of Last Man Stands in Singapore since 2017. Last Man Stands is an innovative, amateur cricket league that brings a new level of excitement to the game with unique rules and shorter match times. Through our involvement, we are bringing international cricket standards to local players, giving them the opportunity to compete in a global cricketing community.
Singapore United Cricket Club also gives opportunities to adults to participate in various open category leagues and tournaments, especially the very popular Last Man Stands.
